Following on from the material covered in the meánrang 1 (intermediate) meánrang 2 will engage in encouraging a basic functional fluency through increased opportunities to practice, extended sentences and phraseology. This class introduces additional tenses and useful everyday vocabulary.

 

Féinaisnéis/Bio

Micheál Ó Seanáin Micheál grew up listening to song and stories in his native County Down. He learned guitar and banjo and started singing and playing out in local sessions around Newry. He has played in various bands over the years and has toured all over Ireland, Britain, Europe, USA and Australia. He has also appeared on many radio and TV shows both nationally and internationally. In recent years he has published four books; two novels and four collections of poetry. He teaches Irish language, guitar and banjo from home.

D'fhás Micheál aníos ag éisteacht le hamhráin agus scéalta ina chontae dúchais, an Dún. D'fhoghlaim sé giotár agus bainseó agus thosaigh sé ag canadh agus ag seinm i seisiúin áitiúla timpeall an Iúr Cinn Trá. Sheinn sé i mbannaí éagsúla thar na blianta agus chuaigh sé ar camchuairt ar fud na hÉireann, na Breataine, na hEorpa, na Stát Aontaithe agus na hAstráile. Tá sé le feiceáil fosta ar go leor cláracha raidió agus teilifíse go náisiúnta agus go hidirnáisiúnta. Le blianta beaga anuas tá ceithre leabhar foilsithe aige; dhá úrscéal agus ceithre chnuasach filíochta. Múineann sé an Ghaeilge, giotár agus bainseó ón bhaile.
